Writers share drafts nobody else has read.
An unpublished manuscript is not ordinary user content. We designed Story Sounding Board around that assumption from the first table onward.
We never train on your manuscript
Your chapters, characters and conversations are used only to answer your own requests. They are never used to train or fine-tune any model, and are never sold or shared.
Row-level isolation
Every record — project, character, fact, chapter, analysis, message — is bound to your account and enforced at the database level. Another account cannot read your rows even by accident.
Keys stay on the server
All AI calls run server-side. No API credentials ever reach your browser, and analysis text is not routed through third-party client scripts.
Delete means delete
Deleting a project permanently removes its characters, facts, relationships, chapters, analyses and conversations. There is no hidden archive.
What we store
Your account email, the display name and writing focus you give during onboarding, and the story material you choose to add: projects, characters, story facts, relationships, chapters or scenes, saved analyses and sounding board conversations.
Product analytics
We record lightweight product events — such as “analysis run” or “project created” — attached to your account so we can see which reading modes are useful. These events never contain manuscript text.
Your control
You can edit or remove any record at any time, and deleting a project removes everything attached to it. If you want your entire account erased, ask and we will remove it.
